Sweetgrass Basket

Sweetgrass baskets are woven by Gullah artisans in and around Charleston — a craft older than the country, coiled from marsh grass and pine needles and palmetto. The candle honors the source: orange at the top, then a bloom through the middle of geranium and rose and jasmine and violet, sandalwood underneath.
