Market Street Praline

Walk down Market Street after ten in the morning and you'll smell it before you see it — sugar and butter and pecans hitting the copper pans at three different candy shops on the same block. The candle is the block: caramelized sugar and sea salt up top, brown sugar and pecan and hazelnut and butter through the middle, caramel and tonka bean and vanilla underneath.
